Welcome to the 7th Asian Association of Indigenous and Cultural Psychology (AAICP) Conference ; we are proud to inform you that the 7th AAICP taking place in Bandung, which is well known  as Parijs Van Java on  August 25 – 27 2015, at Bale Sawala, Rectorate,  Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD), Bandung, Indonesia.

  • The theme of the AAICP-2015 is Psychology of Creativity, Leadership and Innovation : Promoting Team Engagement, Organizational Transformation and Cultural Diversity, which will be elaborated into 15 topics.
  • Creativity and innovation drive competitiveness in the 21st century.  Dynamic competitive global markets demand widespread innovations from all human capital, especially in Asia. Innovation is applied creativity, where new ideas are implemented, adapted, transferred, and used to improve social and economic conditions.  Innovation builds on creativity, those unique thought processes manifested by challenging the status quo.  The New Ways Asia, can be develop by building a foundation of creative ideas, innovation, and strong leadership that put a thought into action. 

Based on several issues mentioned above, the main goal of the current conference of indigenous and cultural psychology is to understand how creativity can be stimulated and have more impact on performance, how innovation can develop new products and services, and how can new forms of leadership be developed and implemented to achieve better Asian future. Future and vision will be leading elements during the conference. The discussion about future efforts to promote and strengthen the cultural and creative industries will be elaborated upon, both from a public and private sector perspectives. 

But what needs to be done in order to leads Asia continue to be at the forefront in the future? Creativity, innovation and leadership are three important building blocks and therefore the main keywords for this conference.

The 7th AAICP organized by Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) in collaboration with Asian Association of Indigenous and Cultural Psychology.

Bandung as an Indonesia’s Parijs  van Java, the  emerging creative city, the education city as well ,  is ideally suited to host the 7th AAICP conference, with its diverse ethnics, religion and way of life. Bandung represents as an example of people who are creative, and innovative in the middle of academic millieu . In addition, you will be able to take part in artistic experiences that showcase what the cultural and creative industries have to offer.

Bandung is adjacent to  Jakarta, the indonesia’s  biggest  business city, has an international airport  with direct flight from Malaysia, Singapore, Cebu, Chennai, and  Bali
